Heading Back To School

It’s hard to believe, but it’s almost time to head back to school. The new school year is just around the corner! In August, students at The Foundations School will arrive at our new campus in West Palm Beach for the first time and begin a year filled with learning, creativity, and growth.

The Foundations School fosters a unique approach to teaching and learning that uses the arts to break barriers in traditional education. This arts-integrated approach uses music, painting, drawing, and more to teach academic subjects. We also rely on small class sizes and regular assessment to give students the one-on-one attention they need to succeed.

After our first year, we can safely say that our methods at The Foundations School are working. Second grader Jaceon started the school year reading at a first-grade level. But by the end of the year, he was reading at a third-grade level. Instead of being behind in reading, he is now ahead and ready for the new school year.

At The Foundations School, we aim to enroll students from underserved communities who are at risk of academic failure. While every family contributes something, no family is turned away for their inability to pay.

As our students get ready to head back to school, we are raising money for our annual fund that will support The Foundations School. These funds allow us to stock all our classrooms with art supplies and books, provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks for each student, and more. Your gift will have a profound impact on our students and serve as an investment in the future of Palm Beach County.
