Digital Literacy at CCE is offering Summer Courses June through July for Middle and High School aged students!

$160.00 per course | Take a Summer Course and have the registration fee waived for our 2020-2021 Digital Literacy program year beginning in August!

Get creative with this Adobe Creative Suite program! Learn to use digital cameras and photo manipulation as well as creative, graphic design projects.

Monday to Thursday | 9:00am to 11:00am
This class is intended for students interested in improving skills, learning techniques, and building a strong foundation in the visual arts. They will create projects using drawing, sculpting, painting, and other techniques. Students are encouraged to bring their sketchbook to every class.

Monday to Thursday | 11:00am to 1:00pm
Gaming + Education! A win-win for the students and parents. Play League of Legends but also go beyond the game to tap into the intrinsic motivations around gaming. The rapidly growing esports video game ecosystem provides a unique wealth of material for education around mythology, plot, and character, as well as business-centric principles such as critical thinking, ethics, persuasive writing, and collaboration.

Monday to Thursday | 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Course that teaches the basic concepts and processes to create 2D animations for students interested in cartooning, TV show (animated) production, and story-telling.  This class is taught with the industry standard program, Toon Boom-Harmony. Students are encouraged to bring their sketchbook to every class.

Monday to Thursday | 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Documentary and Film making are the focus of this course. Storytelling comes to life with video editing, voice overs, interviews, and everything in between.
