About DEPORRES  P.L.A.C.E.

Since 1997, DePorres P.L.A.C.E. has helped adults build the literacy, language, and life skills needed to achieve greater confidence, independence, and opportunity.
As an Adrian Dominican Sister legacy organization, DePorres P.L.A.C.E. provides personalized instruction through volunteer tutors who support adult learners in reading, writing, and English language development.
Through one-on-one and small-group learning environments, students strengthen essential skills, pursue educational goals, prepare for career opportunities, and become more active participants in their communities.
