Busra Albulak
Originally from Turkey, has been a student in our English as a Second Language program since May 2024. After searching the internet for a free or low-cost program, she found DePorres P.L.A.C.E. and never looked back. When she first started attending classes, she felt as if she did not understand anyone. She was unable to express herself and had low self-confidence. As time went on, her English blossomed and so did her self-confidence, even her friends noticed that her English was getting better. Throughout this language learning journey, she has felt extremely supported. She thoroughly enjoys her tutor, William Serrano, and the friendships she has made with her classmates. She also loves the use of technology incorporated within the curriculum, the friendly staff, and believes that the ESOL program is very valuable.
