About The Foundations School
Founded by the Center for Creative Education in 2020, The Foundations School is an independent K-5 school built on more than 30 years of experience transforming teaching and learning through creativity and the arts.
After more than two decades partnering with public schools, we recognized that truly transformational outcomes require a learning environment intentionally designed around students’ needs. The Foundations School was created to provide that environment.
We believe talent is distributed equally, even when opportunity is not. Our mission is to ensure every child has access to an environment intentionally designed to help them discover their strengths, develop their talents, and reach their full potential.
Our approach combines rigorous academics, project-based learning, arts integration, small class sizes, and personalized instruction to help students reach their full potential. Through regular assessment, dedicated educators, and a focus on the whole child, students build strong academic foundations while developing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
