Why Give Through a DAF
Put Your Charitable Dollars to Work for Education
If you hold a donor advised fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant to the Center for Creative Education in just a few minutes. You have already set aside these dollars for charity; recommending a grant to CCE turns them into learning opportunities for children, families, and adults in Palm Beach County.
For more than 30 years, CCE has expanded access to education through The Foundations School, Karakul-Held Academy, Blue Planet Global Education, and DePorres P.L.A.C.E. Your DAF grant can support CCE where the need is greatest or be directed to the program that matters most to you.

How it works:
1. Choose your sponsor – Select the organization that holds your fund (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or your community foundation) in the form below.
2. Log in to your account – You will be taken to your sponsor’s secure site with CCE’s information already filled in.
3. Recommend your grant – Enter the amount and, if you wish, designate a specific CCE program in the grant purpose field.
4. Your sponsor sends the grant – Your DAF sponsor reviews the recommendation and sends the grant directly to CCE.

Good to Know
Designating your gift: Grants are used where the need is greatest unless you name a program. To support The Foundations School, Karakul-Held Academy, Blue Planet Global Education, DePorres P.L.A.C.E., or CCE Innovation & Growth, include the program name in your grant’s purpose or designation field.
Tax deductions: You received your tax deduction when you contributed to your donor advised fund, so a grant from your DAF is not separately deductible. CCE will acknowledge your grant with a thank-you letter.
What DAF grants can’t cover: Under IRS rules, DAF grants can’t be used for anything that gives you a personal benefit, such as tuition, event tickets, or auction items.
