A Special Fundraiser with Hive
We’re buzzing with excitement after our latest event! Recently, we partnered with Hive, a local retailer that offers home and garden décor as well as boutique shopping opportunities, for a special fundraiser. Throughout the day on Monday, November 22nd, 10% of the proceeds from sales at HIVE Home, Gift & Garden or HIVE for Him & Her in West Palm Beach went to CCE. And in the evening, Hive honored three CCE board members at their 8thanniversary party: James Meany, Michele Kukla, and Pam Miller.
The anniversary party was a wonderful pre-holiday gathering for CCE board members, supporters, and those who have attended our events in the past, as well as Hive’s guests. Food, drinks, and music from band students at Dreyfoos School of the Arts created a wonderful atmosphere for guests to socialize and even do a little shopping! In total, the event brought in $10,000 dollars that will go to supporting CCE’s mission of transforming learning and teaching through the arts.
Jim and Sara McCann, the owners of Hive, have supported CCE for a long time. We are grateful for their support always, but especially in hosting such a special event. We thank the McCanns and everyone at Hive for making this such an enjoyable night and supporting our cause at CCE.
