Five Art Activities To Do With Your Child

These activities are perfect if you’re looking for something fun and creative to do at home with your children. They feature everything from drawing to dance to puppetry! Every child will find something they love.

Cardboard Creations
This activity uses cardboard as a canvas to create. Recycled materials that you might find around your house such as magazines, beans, and yarn will bring the cardboard creations to life!

The Other Butterfly
Using paper plates, this activity shows you how to build a unique butterfly necklace that reflects the stages of a butterfly’s life. This activity also comes with a story called “The Other Butterfly.”

Mandala means “circle” in Sanskrit and creating mandalas is a sacred ritual for Buddhist monks. It is a symbol of the universe.
