This course explores the book The Color Monster, written by Anna Llenas. Students will create artwork through collage, drawing, watercolors. and oil pastels. Their artwork will also relate to common feelings such as happiness, sadness, anger, confusion, fear, and peacefulness. As students explore the connections between colors and feelings, they will be able to express their feelings and creativity through their works of art. By the end of the session, students will feel more comfortable talking about feelings, have learned new art vocabulary, and created original works of art all based on this wonderful book!
