Students will learn about various art media through lessons in drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and sculpture while creating science-themed visual artworks. They will achieve an overall understanding of the processes of creating different visual artworks while incorporating science and learning about the importance of experimentation.

Goals:
Students will be introduced to various forms of visual art and how to use the materials.
Students will explore mixed media to create 2-D and 3-D art projects.
Students will also incorporate aspects of science to build on what students are learning at their grade levels.
